Our Border Collie, Jack, had Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), a condition similar to human ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease.
He Lived 30 months with DM, exceeding the 18 months to 2 years life span all the doctors had given him and he was used as a case study by his physical therapist.
Then Covid-19 hit and I lost my job.
I contacted the Wild Hearts foundation and they agreed to sponsor Jack. They were able to provide mobility equipment, supplies, and resources for Jack and me, and funding for therapy and acupuncture.
Although Jack has now crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, Wild Hearts continues to help mobility challenged animals.
Please join me in contributing to Wild Hearts, an animal nonprofit dedicated to helping mobility impaired pets receive the essential equipment, supplies and care they need to thrive while providing resources and support to the humans that love them.
