Year End Giving Campaign
We grew. We adapted. We succeeded.
In 2020, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the worsening economic situation, we received an overwhelming number of sponsorship applications - nearly twice the amount we received last year. Our community sought over $175,000 in assistance and 61% of those who applied reported that they had been financially affected by COVID-19. Despite the economic crisis, having to cancel all of our usual in-person fundraising events, and having to rethink and reconfigure our entire plan for 2020, YOU rose to the challenge to help us continue the work that we're so passionate about. Thanks to your tireless support, we added a record breaking 80 additional pets to the Wild Hearts Family this year - 32 more than in 2019! The best part? We did it all while continuing to support pets who have been part of our family since 2015.
It is our goal to raise $15,000 to help us kickstart 2021. This will allow us to assist 12 more pets next year.
2020 Highlights
Launched a complete rebrand of our organization!
Our #WildforWheels campaign inspired and cultivated a number of supporters, ultimately funding a new set of wheels for 48 pets in need. We surpassed our original fundraising goal for this campaign by almost $10,000.
Added an Equipment Loan + Rental Program assisting 20 families + rescues.
Expanded our educational programming by offering virtual massage classes for our sponsored families, pet owners, foster parents + rescue organizations.
Teamed up with Little Steps Big Strides to increase our educational output via Mobility Matters Pet Hub, an educational and support system for those caring for a mobility imparied pet.
Added Welcome + Care Packages for our sponsorships.
Began virtual connections and conversations via Zoom to engage more with our sponsored families face-to-face.
