Hello friends and family! This year has been quite different than many of us expected. As many of you know, I truly love dogs and I especially love helping dogs. Over this year we've collected and donated many many recyclables for Dupage Animal Shelter's Enrichment Program. I can't thank you enough for your support and for continuing to help homeless dogs with me. Today I'd like to introduce you to my newest volunteer work with Wild Hearts. 

Wild Hearts is an organization that is very near and dear to our hearts. They help animals with mobility issues via financial support, wheel carts, prosthetics and so many more resources. They help show the world that dogs who may have been born a little different or may have had a bit of bad luck, can still live life and have the best happily ever after. 

I came about this fantastic group due to my own dog, Sif having mobility issues. She is 4 years old now and at 1 and a half years old she was diagnosed with disc degenerative disease and elbow dysplasia. Her spine and elbows were literally breaking down. It was so painful for her and unbearable for us to watch. The founder of Wild Hearts is one of Sif’s therapist. The reality of the difficult journey our sweet Sif was going to go through, weighed heavy on us. If her diseases kept progressing, we easily would have been in need of assistance and in search of a wheel cart for our babe. Thankfully after two years of therapy, medicine and procedures, Sif is able to move freely and is off of all of her medications!! Could you picture her, though? She’d have the prettiest cart, with the shiniest pink streamers. 🥰 

We can’t thank Sif's therapists enough for their constant love and support. Therefore, what better way to thank them and start off my volunteer work, than helping my very favorite people raise money for dogs like Sif! Please consider donating any amount and help us, help dogs in need with Wild Hearts! We will be working to meet our goal during the month of September. One cart costs $400 and that’s our goal! One cart for what could have been our sweet Sif. Please donate and help out all of the worlds other sweet Sif's out there!
