Day 2

200 bicep curls, 2 minute sit-up challenge, 1 minute side plank + lots of stretching

 

I am sore. Yesterday was a lot and I should have known better and listened to my body. But I am learning everyday. I ended up holding off on the 50 scheduled burpees for today as my arms and shoulders are aching. Did a lot of stretching throughout the day - thanks Steffy Estella!

Enjoyed adding in some weights with my bicep curls. Was challenged to do 50 total today thanks to Dan JZ and Matt Snow. Ended up doing over 200 total. Side planking was a little more of a struggle as my abs have been working hard.

Started the 2 minute sit-up challenge with ILoveKickboxing and have my baseline number of 44. It will be my goal to beat that number as time goes on.

Highlights/things I learned:
1. Listen to your body and stretch!
2. Don’t forget the protein shakes.
3. Two dogs are ALWAYS better than one. Avocado will be back tomorrow for more playtime with Josh which means side plank tunnels and more puppy smooches.
4. Three hours in the outdoors wiped Josh out yesterday. He spent almost all day sleeping and relaxing in his bed, on the couch and on our bed while I did my workouts.
5. #jackedlikejosh is growing and I am hopeful that it will inspire others to get healthy and active.

Katie Ross-Akin needed a day off of burpees so I'll get to yours tomorrow, along with 50 burpees for Taylor Galvan, 50 mountain climbers for Terry Maderak and a plank hold for Jan Hare ❤️💪#jackedlikejosh
